Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Young Girl To Stand Trial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- There are new details about a man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl on several occasions at several locations.

He's now facing trial.

Police say 37-year-old Luumba Green of Penn Hills is accused of having a number of sexual encounters with a young girl between the ages of 12 and 13 before he was arrested.

In an interview with detectives, the victim said Green allegedly assaulted her at his home in Penn Hills, at a biker's club and anywhere he could catch her alone.

During one encounter, Green allegedly pulled the teens pants down and molested her while exposing himself.

The teenager said she never screamed for help when the acts occurred because she was scared.

According to investigators, she never told her mother because of her friendship with the suspect. Also, Green reportedly gave the girl's mother money and helped her pay some bills.

The teenager also claims Green paid her to take pictures of herself naked.

The alleged assaults didn't stop until the victim told a friend at school and the conversation was overheard by a counselor.

The counselor called the girl's mother who stopped Green from seeing her daughter.

Police later arrested Green at his home and charged him with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated assault, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with a minor.

The teen later told police, "I feel more secure that I don't see him anymore."

Green is free on bond, awaiting his next court date.
