Local Author Kenna Marroitt Shares Daughter's Battle

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Kenna Marriott author of "Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda - A Mothers Journey Through Her Daughters Seven Year Battle With Cancer,"  joined Larry and John to explain her daughter Jeannine's battle with cancer.

Mariott spoke of the fear of losing a child, and Jeannine's fear of leaving her two children.

Marriott wanted women to pay attention to their bodies and to "get tested earlier" because "not knowing is a lot worse than knowing and being proactive."

Marriott pushed the importance of testing and fear of the test isn't worth the possible negative consequences.

Marriott left the listeners with some of her life experience,"hindsight is is wonderful, but foresight is much better."

Listen to the KDKA Morning Show weekdays from 5 a.m.-9 a.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.
