Pittsburgh Named One Best Cities To Retire

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – When it's time to live out your golden years, forget about moving to Florida or Arizona.

Money Magazine is out with its list of the best places to retire and Pittsburgh made the cut.

Pittsburgh made the magazine's 2014 top 5 places to retire list.

The steel city joins Raleigh, Lexington, St. Petersburg, and Boise in the top 5.

The list looks at affordable and high quality healthcare, lower cost of living, and plenty of cultural events and sports teams in their criteria.

Family ties are important to some of the Pittsburgh residents KDKA's Jon Delano talked to.

"My whole family is here, and I'm familiar with it," one said.
