Former Steelers Player Missing In Marion Township

MARION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A search is underway in Butler County for a missing man.

He is a former player for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ray Mathews was with the team during the 1950s and was named to the Pro Bowl in 1952 and 1955.

Mathews is now 84-years-old, and police say he suffers from dementia.

His family notified police after Mathews never returned home from his daily walk on White Oak Road in Marion Township.
