Larry Foote Breaks Down Pryor, Oakland Raiders

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Steelers linebacker Larry Foote covered a wide variety of topics during the latest edition of his show Wednesday night.

Larry was a fan of Terrell Pryor when the Jeanette native was playing high school ball, but after he turned down Michigan for Ohio State, Larry had to stop rooting for him for a while.

According to Larry, one of the best things about Pryor is that "he's not afraid to get hit."

The bye week allowed the Steelers to regroup and refocus so it will be interesting to see how the Raiders play coming off their bye.

Pryor is starting to look down field more before he takes off as he grows and continues his maturation as an NFL quarterback.

Larry can understand Pryor wanting to eliminate distractions by playing some place away from home and things worked out for him because he has taken advantage of the opportunity given to him in Oakland.

Defenses have had a year to figure out how to contain read option signal callers and the insane production from last year has slowed as Larry knew that it would.

This Steelers defense takes pride in getting physical with running quarterbacks as they did with Robert Griffin last year.

Larry is very proud of linebacker Lawrence Timmons who was all over the field making tons of plays last week with 'a little boo-boo' also known as a broken hand.
