2 Injured In Homestead Shooting

HOMESTEAD (KDKA) – Two people were injured in an early Thursday morning shooting in Homestead.

According to police, the shooting happened outside of the High Rollers Bar near the intersection of East Eighth Avenue and Dickson Street around 12:24 a.m.

While police and paramedics were assisting a victim at the scene, they received word of a second victim showing up at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

One of the victims was shot in the foot, but the injuries sustained by the second victim are unknown. Their conditions have not been released.

Police also issued a BOLO for a Dodge Charger with New York license plates that was seen heading westbound on East Eighth Avenue at a high-rate of speed.

Police later located the vehicle in Oakland and brought one person in for questioning. That individual was later released.
