Man Charged With Sex Assault, Accused Of Luring Kids With Money, Video Games

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A local man, already charged with molesting two boys, is now accused in a third case.

Neighbors say they noticed kids around, but never assumed anything like this was happening.

Michael Seaman, 40 of Knoxville, is currently in jail on multiple sex assault charges.

"It's a very serious case. Right now, we have three victims we determined to be assaulted by this individual," said Lt. Kevin Kraus, of Pittsburgh Police. "We are actively investigating another case where we believe a much younger child was assaulted as well."

Police believe a 6-year-old boy was also assaulted. Detectives worry there could be more.

Darnell Ethridge lives right across the street from the suspect and says he saw Seaman hanging out with boys a lot.

"I just thought kids, in and out, in and out. I saw them riding the ATV and all of that. I never thought he's molesting those kids," said Ethridge. "If I had known that."

Investigators say Seaman preyed on the children, allegedly lured them with rides on his ATV, paid them a dollar, even $5 and allowed them to use the Xbox in his home.

"He groomed them. He would bring him into his home for various projects," said Lt. Kraus. "From there he would lure them into sexual assault."

Meanwhile, along Bausman Street in Knoxville, folks saw the contact Seaman made with children, but never expected this.

"I saw him with this little young boy that used to ride his dirt bike all the time. I saw him out there playing in the alleyway with him a lot," said Charles Wallace, a neighbor. "He speaks to me every day. I had no idea he was like that."
