The Prediction Machine Makes His Week 10 Picks
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Paul Bessire, known better by the nickname of his program, "The Prediction Machine," checked in with The Fan Morning Show today to share his NFL picks, as he does every Thursday at 9:20 a.m.
The Machine runs each game over 50,000 times to find the most likely official outcome and prediction.
Paul makes his selections for Week 10 in the NFL and his NCAA picks as well. Paul says the Steelers' have fallen on real hard times. He has them losing at home this Sunday to the Buffalo Bills, who he calls the better team. He says the Bills win 23-22 52 percent of the time straight up. He is 12-6 this year when predicting road underdogs.
He says to stay away from tonight's NFL game between the Redskins and Vikings. He does predict the Redskins to win 54 percent of the time 27-25.
He also likes Notre Dame to win a good tight close game at Heinz Field on Saturday night. He says the Irish win 24-21 54 percent of the time.
