PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — You have to see this!

The Olympic Winter Games in Sochi are just around the corner.

And the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Evgeni Malkin is rallying support for his native Russia’s hockey team through the power of song.

Geno is all buddy-buddy with his Washington Capitals’ rival and fellow countryman, Alex Ovechkin, as well as other Russian hockey stars, both past and present.

They’re singing along to “Shaybu, Shaybu.”

It’s a song about hockey by a Russian pop star.

“Shaybu” is apparently a classic Russian hockey chant that translates to “puck.”
