"Most Wanted" Robbery Suspect Flees From Courthouse, Prompting Search

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police arrested a "most wanted" robbery suspect Thursday after he ran away from a courthouse.

Zachary Harrison Gonze, 26, of South Fayette, was wanted after failing to appear in court for several robberies in Mt. Lebanon.

Gonze was free on bond, but was to appear at the courthouse Wednesday. But when he realized he would be drug tested, Police say Gonze hit the bricks.

After issuing bench warrants, police searched much of the greater Pittsburgh area for Gonze.

They eventually found him at a house on Washington Street in Heidelberg, where he was sleeping.

Gonze was then taken to the Allegheny County Jail, where is being held without bond.
