Crews Pull Stuck Truck From Hole In Squirrel Hill

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A water main break in Squirrel Hill led to bigger problems for a Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority truck responding to the scene to make repairs.

The water main break happened Friday night on Monitor Street at Shady Avenue.

While crews were on scene making repairs this morning, one of their trucks ended up trapped when a rear tire dropped into a hole in the ground at the site.

Crews were able to pull the truck from the hole earlier this afternoon.

There's no word on when repairs to the water main break will be completed.

Stay with KDKA for more on this developing story.
