Storm Expected To Drop 3-6 Inches Of Snow

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The western Pennsylvania region remains under Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories for a combination of wintry weather elements.

Snow in the Pittsburgh area will continue through 10 a.m. Tuesday, then it will mix with sleet and rain for several hours as the high temperature comes in at 36 degrees.

According to KDKA-TV Meteorologist Dennis Bowman, we can expect another inch or two of accumulation between now and then.

Precipitation will switch back to all snow after 10 p.m. and accumulates an additional two to four inches by morning. The low will be 32 degrees.

Snow will continue lightly into the afternoon hours on Wednesday.

Snow totals will generally be in the three to six inch range, with some areas getting a little more, some getting a little less.

If you have to be out on the roads, allow extra time for travel during these two days of winter weather.
