PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With the holidays coming up, Pittsburgh is getting a visit from Donny and Marie Osmond.
For the first time, the brother-sister duo is bringing their Christmas Tour to Consol Energy Center next month.
KDKA-TV’s David Highfield sat down with the duo and got the inside scoop on what to expect in their upcoming show.
He sat down with them at the Flamingo in Las Vegas and it didn’t take long for Marie to show her football colors.
“I’m a Steelers fan,” she said. “My girlfriend is from Pittsburgh. We met when I was 10 and she was 11, so I go out there all the time and see her parents and everything. Yeah, so I just became a Steelers fan.”
Donny and Marie literally grew up on television and many grew up with them.

Highfield confessed that in the late 70s, both he and his cousin would watch “The Donny and Marie Show” and sing along to their hits.
“Because ‘The Donny and Marie Show’ was such a tradition for a lot of people – it was a huge event to watch ‘The Donny and Marie Show,’” Donny said. “There were only three channels back then, so people were forced to watch the ‘Donny and Marie Show.’”
But, no one is forced to watch their current show and it’s quite popular.
Donny and Marie have been performing in Las Vegas and their show has been rated number one in Vegas.
As for the Christmas show, they promise a lot of variety, including clips from the past.

“We’re telling everyone you will not leave this concert without having the holiday spirit,” Marie said. “It’s a really good show. There’s going to be something for everyone.”
Their Christmas show comes to town on Dec. 12 and tickets are still available.
