Man Injured In McKeesport Shooting

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) - A man was rushed to the hospital after being shot in McKeesport early Thursday morning.

According to police, the shooting happened outside of Bubba's Bar in the 300-block of Ringgold Street around 1:30 a.m.

A man was shot in the stomach and had to be rushed to UPMC Mercy Hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive.

Two men and one woman were taken in for questioning by police, but no charges have been filed at this time.

Those three people may have initially fled the scene in a car to a nearby apartment complex.

A gun has been recovered and Allegheny County Police called for a vehicle at the apartment complex to be impounded after the shooting.
