Steelers Cornerback William Gay Fined For Hit In Cleveland Game
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Steelers cornerback William Gay was slapped with a fine for a hit in last weekend's game against the Cleveland Browns.
According to the NFL, Gay was fined more than $15,000 for unnecessary roughness for his hit on Browns quarterback Jason Campbell.
Gay's arm struck Campbell in the head on a sack that resulted in a forced fumble.
Campbell left the game with a concussion.
