Fayette Co. Man Charged After Allegedly Pointing Gun At Wife, Child

UNIONTOWN (KDKA) -- A Fayette County man is back behind bars after state police say he pointed a gun at his wife and her young child.

The incident happened Monday afternoon in the 500-block of Leckrone Highhouse Road in German Township.

State police say 36-year-old Roger Angelo, Jr. of McClellandtown is a convicted felon, which prohibits him from possessing a firearm. He is also on state parole.

According to investigators, Angelo pointed a Ruger 9mm at his wife and her 3-year-old daughter.

Court documents say Angelo's wife called CYS and state troopers saying the 5-foot-10, 295-pound man forced the gun into her mouth, demanding her to perform sex acts on him. She told investigators that the 3-year-old was just a few feet away the entire time.

Allegedly, Angelo also pointed the gun at the little girl in a screaming rage.

In addition to the gun, state police say he also was in possession of drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest.

Angelo is facing several charges, including aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children as well as drug and firearms violations.

He was arraigned and is now being held in the Fayette County Jail on $50,000 straight bond.
