PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)-Steelers guard David DeCastro joined The Fan Morning Show in his regular weekly spot on Tuesday morning including our special guest host, linebacker Larry Foote.
“This one was frustrating on all levels,” DeCastro said. “We thought we had a chance to win.”
David said as an offensive lineman you always want to run the ball, but he is not going to question the game plan or what plays are being called. He is not trying to make a scene, he is just going to do what he is asked to do.
DeCastro says that he doesn’t need to give a rally speech to his teammates on how to finish the final three games because as a professional, guys are already motivated.
He tells the guys that he felt great in the game and there are no lingering injuries.
From all accounts, Cody Wallace did a nice job being the Steelers third starting center this season.
DeCastro said he played well. He says he got beat on a couple of plays, but it’s the NFL and everyone gets beat once in awhile.
“We had a chance to win and he played well,” DeCastro added.
