Sound Off On Gas Drilling At Pittsburgh International Airport
Today is final day for the public to submit comments about gas drilling at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Earlier this year, Allegheny County entered into a lease agreement with Consol to drill in remote areas of the airport property.
Six well pads will be used to drill a total of 47 wells.
Officials hope royalties will total $450 million dollars over the next 20 years.
