PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)- CBS Sports NFL Today Studio Analyst Boomer Esiason joined the Fan’s Midday Show on Friday to chat with Dan Zangrilli who was filling in to preview the NFL’s Wild Card Weekend.

“The Bengals are much happier to see San Diego,” Boomer tells Dan.

He thinks the Steelers would have been one team to really threaten the Bengals this weekend at home but the Chargers found a way to beat the Chiefs JV squad to get that final playoff spot in the AFC.

“I felt sick to my stomach,” Boomer said. “Pittsburgh should be in the playoffs, the refs got it wrong.”

Boomer also tells Dan that the NFL needs to clean up the officiating problems because as fans we want to see them get it right and these decisions have cost people jobs.

Boomer said even though he likes what the Steelers did down the stretch he would have picked his Bengals to win and he is picking them to beat the Chargers too.
