Brutal Weather Forces Peduto Inauguration Ceremony Inside

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Arctic weather predicted to hit the area early next week has forced Pittsburgh Mayor-Elect Bill Peduto to move his Inaugural Ceremony indoors.

The ceremony was previously planned to take place outdoors on the portico of the City County Building on January 6th.

The ceremony will now take place inside Heinz Hall at 1 p.m.

Immediately following the ceremony, the public is invited to participate in a reception at the Wintergarden at PPG Place, to meet the new Mayor and members of his cabinet, with complimentary ice skating.
