Man Killed By Driver While Removing Deer From Road

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was killed Friday night while he was trying to remove a deer from the road in Westmoreland County.

Police say around 6 p.m., 65-year-old James Armstrong of Unity Township was trying to remove a deer from the road near the intersection of Frye Farm Road and East High Acres Road, when he was hit by a car.

Armstrong was pronounced dead at the scene.

No word on the driver of the vehicle.
