Furry Tails: Searching For A Forever Home (1/11)
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!
Cisco
Animal Rescue League
Intelligent and active, Cisco is waiting at the Animal Rescue League for a forever family! He's looking for a fun-loving household that will take him for lots of walks!
Animal Rescue League says:
"Meet Cisco! He was found running in a local neighborhood and made his way to the Animal Rescue League where he has been waiting to meet his forever family for over a month now. He is about a year old so is a pretty active guy who really likes to run and play. He loves walks, too, and walks well on an easy walk harness. We think he would do well in an active family who likes going for walks or runs and who likes to play!
"He is very treat motivated and already knows "sit" and "watch me." He would probably graduate at the head of his class in puppy school! He LOVES to play with other dogs and takes cues very well. If you have a pup in your home, please bring him/her in for a meet-and-greet to see if they can be good friends. Cisco is not a fan of kitties, though, so is looking for a home without any felines.
"This boy is quite the lover and the looker and will greet you with a smile every time! If you think he'd be a good fit for your family, do stop by and meet him soon!"
Cisco is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and microchipped.

Kewpie
Animal Friends
Adorable Kewpie is hoping for a second chance at a forever family! Though older, she still loves to play and gives out lots of love. If you think she's right for your loving home, she's waiting patiently at Animal Friends!

"Kewpie is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home. She was returned to Animal Friends in September of 2013 when her owners could no longer care for her. When she was initially returned, she was in poor health and was ill for some time. Due to the great care she received from our Medical Department, Kewpie is feeling great and ready to find her new family!
"Even though Kewpie is 9-years-old, she still has a hop in her step and likes to play and go on walks. She also loves to play fetch!
"We think Kewpie would do best in an adult home or a home with older children. She has told us she would also like to be the only pet in the home so she can be the center of attention and get every bit of your love and kisses!"
Kewpie has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
