Antonio Brown Honored For His Record-Breaking Season

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- After a record-breaking 2013 season, Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was named to the PFWA (Pro Football Writers of America) All-AFC team.

The Steelers made the announcement Monday.

Brown showed why he is one of the top wide receivers in the NFL today, as he posted a Steelers single-season record with 1,499 receiving yards along with 110 receptions -- a career-high. That's only two receptions short of Hines Ward in Steelers history for receptions in a single season, according to team officials.

But that was not all, as he also made NFL history with a minimum five receptions and 50 receiving yards in every game this season.

The Steelers said division rival and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon was also picked.

Brown is the Steelers 2013 MVP, and was a contender in the Pro Bowl and as well as named to the AP All-Pro second team.
