Waterfront Shooting Suspect Apologizes To Victim's Family

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Two more suspects wanted in a deadly shooting at The Waterfront have been captured.

Allegheny County Police were looking for several people involved in this shooting. Now, two weeks after the shooting death of Imani Porter, two additional men have been arrested and charged.

That brings the total number of arrests to three and one of the men offered up an apology last night.

"I'm sorry for his family," suspect Paul Sanders said.

Sanders is one of two men arrested yesterday in connection with the Porter's death. Porter is the young uncle of rapper Wiz Khalifa.

The United States Marshal's Fugitive Task Force took Sanders into custody as well as 20-year-old Michael Wolford at an apartment in Wilmerding.

Porter was shot to death on Jan. 8. He was in the driver's seat of car in the Steak 'N Shake parking lot at The Waterfront in Munhall.

Allegheny County Police believed that Porter was attempting to sell drugs to the suspects when he was shot.

The day after the shooting, Jaron Young, 17, of Penn Hills, turned himself in to police.

All three men have been charged with criminal homicide along with several other charges. Authorities said when they arrested Sanders and Wolford, they also found crack cocaine and digital scales and will face additional drug charges.

Family members did not want to talk on camera today, but Porter's father said he's thankful that police did not give up on the case and is happy the arrests were made.
