Mother Of 5 Shot, Killed In McKeesport

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a mother of five was shot and killed in McKeesport late Monday night.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 900-block of McCleary Street around 11 p.m.

When police arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Susan Sidney, 25, of McKeesport, was rushed to UPMC McKeesport Hospital, where she died around midnight.

Sidney was walking with a young man at the time of the shooting and police believe he may have been the intended target.

An autopsy is scheduled to be completed Tuesday.

No arrests have been made at this time.
