Furry Tails: Searching For A Forever Home (2/8)
Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I’ll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

It’s National Adopt a Shelter Rabbit Month and these two adorable ladies are looking for a second chance after being abandoned on Animal Friends’ doorstep. They are sweet, playful and can’t wait to go home with a loving forever family!
Animal Friends says:
“Thelma and Louise are two outlaws driving around in their ’66 Thunderbird. Wait…maybe not. We don’t think they let rabbits drive. Our Thelma and Louise are two very sweet rabbits that have been making the BunRun rounds here at Animal Friends, looking for their forever home.
“Thelma and Louise were abandoned on Animal Friends’ doorstep back in September. They spent the night in a cardboard box until a staff member discovered them in the morning. After a short stint as office fosters in our Communications department, these two girls are ready to go!
“Thelma is a little spitfire and certainly has some spunk to her. She is the more active of the pair and is eager to explore and play. Louise is a bit more laid-back and is happy to sit on the floor with you and get some love.
“Thelma and Louise are looking for their forever home. Could it be yours?”
Thelma and Louise have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
