1 Injured, Woman In Custody After Crafton Heights Shooting

CRAFTON HEIGHTS (KDKA) - A woman was injured in an early Monday morning shooting in Crafton Heights.

According to police, officers were called to a home in the 1600-block of Clairtonica Street around 4:30 a.m.

A 28-year old woman was arguing with her long-time friend, Judith White, in an upstairs bedroom when things got out of hand.

White pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the arm and ran from the scene.

A Pittsburgh Police K-9 tracked her down about an hour later. She was hiding behind a car a few blocks from the scene.

A third woman, who lives in the home where the shooting took place and was there at the time, identified White as the shooter.

The victim was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where she is listed in good condition.

White was taken to the Allegheny County Jail on charges that include aggravated assault.
