Furry Tails: Searching For A Forever Home (3/1)

Are you looking to bring a pet into your home? Local animal shelters are a great place to find a furry companion. So, as part of Furry Tails, I'll be doing an ongoing feature on adoptable pets from local animal shelters once a week. If you have room in your heart and are looking to bring a lovable ball of fur into your home, maybe one of these guys is meant to be a part of your family!

A "Star" is born! This sweet, caring girl is waiting at Animal Friends for a loving forever family to scoop her up and take her home. So, if you love cuddling, relaxing and big wet kisses, Star might just be the girl for you!

Animal Friends says:
"Looking for a beautiful companion with soulful eyes who enjoys snuggling on the couch with you? Then, meet sweet Star!

"Star recently went to a sleep-over at a volunteer's house. The volunteer's report began, "Star is AWESOME!" This gorgeous girl was the perfect house guest. She was well-mannered at all times and enjoyed her time relaxing and cuddling.

"Star adores people. She spent an afternoon in Animal Friend's lobby and loved her job as canine greeter. She wagged her tail at every new friend. And each time that her under-the-weather handler coughed, Star gave her a big kiss!

"This charismatic girl has also hung out with a group who knits at the shelter. She is a favorite of staff members to bring for office visits as well.

"Gentle Star is looking for a cat-free forever home where she will be loved and cherished. She doesn't require a huge amount of exercise. This mellow girl would do well with a few leisurely walks per day. If you think you could open your home and your heart to our precious Star, come and meet her at Animal Friends!

"And someone believes in her so much, that they have sponsored her adoption! She is truly priceless."

Star has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

If you can help, come to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15237 or call 412-847-7002. For more information on how you can adopt any of the pets at Animal Friends, visit their website here!
