Man Wounded In Braddock Shooting

BRADDOCK (KDKA) -- A young man was wounded in a shooting this afternoon in Braddock.

The gunfire erupted at the intersection of Second and Camp Avenues before 4:30 p.m.

A male in his late-teens or early 20's was shot in the head.

He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition.

So far, there's been no arrests, but the mayor says he's certain they will catch the person responsible.

"It's rattling to have something like this happen in proximity to where you live, but we have security cameras installed and we have patrols," said Braddock Mayor John Fetterman.

There's no word yet on what prompted the shooting.
