Woman Killed In North Huntingdon Crash Identified

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- The Westmoreland County Coroner's Office is now identifying the victim of a head-on crash in Westmoreland County.

According to the coroner's office, 74-year-old Judith Huntsberger of Hempfield Township was pronounced dead around 5:20 p.m. Friday at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.

She died of blunt force trauma to the chest, abdomen and lower extremities.

The accident happened on Route 30 at Pitt Industrial Diamond in North Huntingdon.

The coroner's office reports Huntsberger's Buick LeSabre was headed west when it crossed the center line and collided with the other vehicle.

The three people in that other vehicle, including a child between the ages of 10 and 13, suffered significant injuries in the crash.

They have not been identified and there's been no word on their conditions.

The North Huntingdon Police Department continues to investigate.
