New Data Ranks Pittsburgh's Least Faithful Neighborhood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Cheaters never prosper.
…Or do they?
Well, it seems some Pittsburgh neighborhoods are less faithful than others.
That's according to new data from the dating website specifically for people seeking extra-marital affairs, AshleyMadison.com.
The website has ranked the top 10 least faithful neighborhoods right here in Pittsburgh. The list is based on 131,375 cheaters who live in the area.
So, where you ask is the most unfaithful local neighborhood? According to AshleyMadison.com's membership per capita, it's Brighton Heights.
Franklin Park and Baldwin round out the top three.
Here's the rest of the list:
- Brighton Heights (8.3%)
- Franklin Park (7.7%)
- Churchill (7.5%)
- Baldwin (7.2%)
- Shadyside (6.9%)
- Bradford Woods (6.8%)
- Bloomfield (6.1%)
- Cranberry Township (5.8%)
- West End (5.5%)
- Marshall Township 5.3%
In addition to the neighborhoods, the data also found:
- West End has the most single women seeking married men
- Baldwin's members have the most children
- 42% of Pittsburgh's philanderers are female (average age 37)
Finally, a common thread on most cities' top 10 lists in affluence.
In a press release, the website's founder says: "The proclivity to cheat often goes hand in hand with opportunity. Those with discretionary income and freedom to travel are even more likely to stray."
