Child Struck By Vehicle In Allentown

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Emergency crews were called to Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood this evening where a child was hit by a vehicle.

According to emergency dispatchers, the accident happened before 6 p.m. at the corner of McLain Street and Beltzhoover Avenue.

The child was taken to Children's Hospital for treatment of an ankle injury.

There's been no word on the child's condition.
