Police Seek Suspects In Vehicle Break-In Credit Card Thefts

ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a man and woman caught on surveillance video allegedly using credit cards stolen during car break-ins in the North Hills area and in Leetsdale.

According to Ross Township Police, the vehicle break-ins happened on March 13 in Perrysville and on March 21 in Leetsdale Borough.

In Perrysville, police say four unlocked vehicles were targeted.

Investigators say eight unlocked vehicles were targeted during the break-ins in Leetsdale.

Ross Township Police report the credit cards stolen in these incidents were then used at the Giant Eagle on Camp Horne Road, the Walmart in Cranberry Township and at the BP gas station in Bellevue.

Police say the same man and woman were captured on surveillance video using the credit cards.

The man is described as younger and the woman as older. Also, police say they haven't determined the total amount stolen.
