2 Arrested In Spring Hill Home Invasion

PITTSBURGH, PA (KDKA) --A man is recovering after being attacked during a home invasion in Spring Hill Sunday morning.

"I got like scratches and bumps on my head from where I was kicked, but I came out of it pretty good for a 20-minute scuffle," said Bill Kablach.

Kablach had to defend himself against a man and a woman wearing masks, who broke into his home on Zang Way.

Kablach says he managed to call 911, just before the couple kicked in his front door.

"I had both locks on. He might have opened the door with a card. I don't know. But, that bottom lock, they just kicked right through that," said Kablach.

Once the intruders got inside, Kablach says they Tased him at least 20 times during a fight that led to his bedroom.

"Every time me and her would scuffle, he would Tase me. Every time we would roll to the ground, he would kick me and Tase me. Somehow, through the scuffle, she's a real good thief. She even got my wallet," said Kablach.

Police showed up and arrested the male and female intruders just as they were leaving.

They have been identified as 33-year-old Audrey Knight and 30-year-old James Frantz.

Both are charged with burglary, robbery, terroristic threats, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Kablach admits he's acquainted with Knight, who was charged with breaking into his home a few days ago.

Meanwhile, police returned his wallet, which contained $270.

Knight and Frantz are both being lodged in the Allegheny County Jail.
