PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Pitt beat writer for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Jerry DiPaola joined Tab Douglas on Sunday to give an early outlook on the Panthers.

DiPaola talks about how much James Conner will be used on the defense, which Jerry says Chryst could use him as a “situational pass rusher.” Jerry talks about the depth Pitt has at running back, which will have big implications on Conner’s usage.

DiPaola talks about Pitt players who could potentially be drafted in the NFL. He thinks Donald, “will be invited to New York for the draft.” He said he is not surprised that he has moved up.

Finally, they talk about Chryst’s recruting and Dipaola says, “if he gets some lucky bounces, Pitt is going to have an ACC Championship team by the end of the decade.”
