PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – KDKA Radio’s Mike Pintek’s road trip has now taken him to Moon Area High School.

The kids were excited and ready to talk about politics and hot topics. A packed house of juniors and seniors addressed issues like Marcellus Shale, gay marriage and gun control.

What do you think about gun control?

What are your thoughts on gay marriage?

Should school officials record audio on the buses?

Do you think that going to college is the only way you’ll be successful?

What do you think about the use of instant replay in baseball?

Do you think Marcellus Shale drilling is good for our area?

The students of Moon were very welcoming to Pintek. They discussed some of the top stories going on in our world today and they weren’t afraid to voice their opinions.

Throughout the show, Pintek was visited by students from in their music department. Some came to play their instruments and others came to sing, but they all put on a wonderful show!

Principal Barry Balaski was more than happy to sit and talk with intek. He jokes that they like to keep that “new car smell” so their building will always be new.
