PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Pirates broadcaster Bob Walk joined “The Fan Morning Show” for the second edition of his weekly “Walk on Wednesday” spot this week, with the Bucs’ 2014 season underway.

During the interview, Walk told the guys that Charlie Morton’s struggles against the Cubs on Tuesday night were largely a function of him not hitting his spots, although not so much from a balls-and-strikes standpoint.

“Even though he was throwing a lot of strikes, there were times when he was having a hard time following the glove, if you know what I mean,” Walk said. “He wasn’t staying out on the edge as often as we have seen him.”
