Franklin Regional HS Baseball Player Remains In Critical Condition

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A 17-year-old from Franklin Regional High School remains on life support after being stabbed.

Jared Boger suffered the worst injuries of the nearly two-dozen people injured during a student's stabbing rampage just before school started Wednesday.

He remains in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Sources say he underwent surgery at 1 a.m. this morning and remains intubated, but is responsive.

Boger is on the high school's baseball team and also works on the Ski Patrol at Seven Springs.
