WILKINSBURG (KDKA) – A woman was killed in an early Wednesday morning crash in Wilkinsburg.

The victim has been identified as Christina Graham-Pinkney, 24, of Pittsburgh.

She was a passenger in a car that crashed shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Robinson Boulevard in Wilkinsburg.

According to police, the man driving the vehicle lost control and hit a telephone pole. The car flipped over and Graham-Pinkney was ejected.

When police arrived, the driver and another man in the car were standing outside. They were not injured in the crash.

Graham-Pinkney was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two men were taken to Allegheny County Police headquarters for questioning.

Police are looking into whether speed, alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.

No charges are expected today.

Power crews had to bring in a new utility pole and repair some lines along Robinson Boulevard.

The road was closed for several hours during reconstruction and cleanup.

An autopsy was scheduled for some time Wednesday.
