2 Injured In I-79 Crash In Zelienople
ZELIENOPLE (KDKA) -- Authorities shut down part of Interstate 79 in Butler County Thursday evening following a major accident involving two tractor trailers and another vehicle.
According to emergency dispatchers, the crash happened in the northbound lane at mile marker 90 in Zelienople.
Police had to close down the northbound side of the road in that area.
Paramedics and two medical helicopters were called to the scene.
Two people were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. There's no word on their conditions.
The road reopened around 8:30 p.m.
