Man Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Homewood Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a man suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Wednesday evening in Homewood.

The gunfire rang out around 6:15 p.m. in the 1000-block of Brushton Avenue.

The victim has not been identified, but officials at the scene say he was in his late-20s.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the face and was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

There's no word on his condition, but his injuries were considered life-threatening.
