Man Facing Child Porn Charges After A.G.'s Office Searches Penn Hills Home

PENN HILLS (KDKA) -- A Penn Hills man is behind bars on child pornography charges, after agents with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office searched his house and seized his computer.

On Tuesday afternoon, neighbors saw Penn Hills Police and investigators from the state Attorney General's Child Predator Unit converging on a home on Darrell Drive.

"We were conducting a pro-active undercover investigation into the distribution and possession of child pornography," said Deputy Attorney General Anthony Marmo.

They were looking for 26-year-old William Mosley, Jr.

Mosley was arrested on 10 counts of having photos and videos showing the sexual abuse of children on his computer.

"Certainly, these images were quite disturbing," said Marmo. "They were under the age of 10-years-old. There were many pictures that did depict children between 6 and 8."

According to investigators, Mosley told special agents he was "really into" teenage, young and webcam porn, and that he had been downloading child pornography for years.

"We did get a full confession in this case," Marmo said.

Agents recovered a number of electronic devices from Mosley's bedroom including computers and cell phones. The state attorney general is aggressively going after computer crime as it relates to crimes against children.

"Luckily, right now, we've been given the resources to go out there and search for these things proactively," Marmo said. "We've been conducting, as you can see, a lot of investigations and coming up with a lot of unsavory characters."

Mosley is in the Allegheny County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
