PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) – With their home opener set for Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. against the Frontier Greys, Washington Wild Things teammates CJ Beatty, Jonathan Kountis, Stewart James and Scott Dunn joined Chris Mueller to talk about how excited they are to get the season underway.

Wild Things Pitcher Scott Dunn, a local kid from Clinton, Pa., talked about how cool it is for him to get to play in front of his family and friends.

“It’s absolutely amazing,” Dunn said.  “My family and everybody can come out and watch me. Great fan base, everybody is behind you and supportive, and I’m just happy to be here.”

Dunn also talked about what it is fans will get to experience when they come out to a Wild Things game.

“We got a bunch of hard workers, everybody is out there diving, going crazy, throwing their hands up,” he said. “We got a crazy bunch of guys on the field.  We’re gonna put on a show for everybody.”

As part of their opening week, the Wild Things will have former Major League player Bill Buckner on hand for an autograph session on Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23.
