Police Make Arrest In Beaver Falls Fatal Shooting
BEAVER FALLS (KDKA) -- Police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting earlier this month in Beaver County.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 21-year-old Tyrone Savage has been taken into custody in connection with the death of 23-year-old Anthony Slappy, Jr.
Savage has been charged with homicide and is being held in the Beaver County Prison, the Post-Gazette reports.
A warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this week.
Slappy was fatally shot May 9 on Tank Alley near his grandmother's home in Beaver Falls.
He died in the hospital a few hours later.
The Post-Gazette reports Savage has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 3.
