NORTH HUNTINGDON (KDKA) – Police have positively identified a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery Saturday morning.

According to police, the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank on Clay Pike in North Huntingdon.

On Sunday, police identified the man as Richard Thomas Jr., 39, of Munhall.

He did not display a weapon during the robbery and only handed a demand note to the teller.

Police say he was seen leaving the bank in a salmon-colored, older model car. They say it could be an early ‘90s Lincoln, Mercury or Buick.

The vehicle was located Sunday morning after being involved in an accident. However, Thomas Jr. has still not been located.

Anyone with information is asked to call North Huntingdon Police at (724)-863-8800.
