3 Injured In Fineview Shooting

FINEVIEW (KDKA) – Police are searching for at least two gunmen after a shooting left three people injured in Fineview early Monday morning.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 1700-block of Belleau Drive in the Allegheny Dwellings.

"They were sitting in the courtyard area when the shots were fired," Pittsburgh Public Safety Spokesperson Sonya Toler said. "There were also shots that went into some apartments in the area. One vehicle that was parked was hit. And we picked up probably around 30 or so casings from the scene."

The three victims all went to nearby Allegheny General Hospital.

A 26 year-old woman was shot in the left leg and was treated and released.

A 38-year-old man was hit in the thigh and was in stable condition Monday morning.

However, a 20-year-old woman was shot in the back and the bullet lodged in her abdomen.

"She is in critical condition. She was in surgery this morning," Toller said.

Despite the amount of gunfire, and stray bullets, no one else was injured. Meanwhile, police were able to get a description of a possible getaway vehicle and the number of suspects involved.

"The car, this gold or tan Sonata, fled with the suspects in it," Toller said. "We believe from the casings, we have two guns that were used in this. Two different calibers were found at the scene."

While homicide detectives continue to investigate, Pittsburgh Police encourage anyone with information to come forward.
