Wash. Co. Mother Of 6 Arrested On Drug, Child Endangerment Charges

CHARLEROI (KDKA) – A Washington County woman has been arrested on drug and child endangerment charges after an anonymous call led police to her home.

Police say 34-year-old Brooke Dills was arrested early Thursday morning.

Police went to the home after receiving an anonymous call about screaming coming from the home.

When officers arrived, they found cockroaches in several rooms and six children with dirty clothes and feet. Empty stamp bags of heroin and pills were also discovered by police.

"The best way to describe it, there were bugs everywhere," said Officer Michael Carcella with Charleroi Police. "The smell was just absolutely terrible. I actually had to walk out."

Police say they visited the house twice within two weeks.

According to Washington County Jail records, Dills is being held on $50,000 straight bond.

She is facing a list of charges including, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.
