NEW KENSINGTON (KDKA) – A suspect from the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office’s top 20 most wanted fugitives list was arrested Wednesday in New Kensington.

Sheriff’s deputies apprehended Kayla Loughner, 24, of Natrona Heights, on Constitution Boulevard and transported her to the Allegheny County Jail. Deputies had information that she would be in the area and were searching the region.

Loughner was wanted on two criminal bench warrants for violating her probation in connection with burglary, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and drug paraphernalia charges.

On July 20, 2013, she was caught burglarizing a Natrona Heights home. The occupants walked in to discover Loughner stealing their personal items, including silver and jewelry. She then fled the scene. Harrison Township Police immediately located and apprehended her.

It was later determined Loughner is also wanted on an additional warrant lodged by the Harrison Township Police for criminal conspiracy to commit burglary.
