Cast of 'Dawn of The Planet of The Apes' Talks Summer Blockbuster

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – In it’s opening weekend, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” trampled the competition and dominated the box office raking in $73 million.

The sequel to the modern version of the classic series of “Planet of The Apes” films has surpassed it’s predecessor “Rise of The Planet of The Apes” which opened in 2011 with $54.8 million. Large part of it’s success is due to the “A” list of talented of actors. Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell and Jason Clarke who tell the story of a post-apocalyptic world soon to be run by genetically altered primates.

CBS San Francisco Entertainment Reporter, Liam Mayclem recently sat down with three of the main cast members, appropriately enough, at Crissy Field in San Francisco’s Presidio and talked about making the film and their characters.
