unded in 2009, is an incredible non-profit organization that provides school and classroom supplies at no charge to schools where at least 70% of the student body qualifies for the National School Lunch Program. The organization is able to deliver a 3:1 return on every dollar given due largely to their ability to leverage expertise in the area of in-kind giving complemented by a dedication to minimizing administrative and operational expense.

In 2013, the total out of pocket expenditures that teachers made on school supplies was $1.6 billion. On average, teachers spent $485. The average starting salary for teachers in PA is $41,192.

This past year The Education Partnership served 8,000 students. They plan to double the amount of students this coming school year which will require a major increase in funding. They need your help.

What do your dollars do?

  • $10  will buy 3,571 pencils
  • $25  provides school supplies for one child for an entire year.
  • $50  will buy 5,000 crayons
  • $100  will provide 1,500 students with colored markers

When donating to this worthy organization, 94 cents of every dollar goes DIRECTLY to program support.

The Education Partnership is able to make a dollar go along way. They have tremendous buying power because of our volume. They recently bought cases of pencils….4 for 1 cent!!

  • The Education Partnership will give away nearly 200,000 pencils this coming school year.
  • Total students who have benefited from the program:  22,000
  • Total of supplies given to students:  $2.8 million
  • Total schools that have benefited from program:  65
  • Total teachers served:  2,110

With basic school supplies a kid’s future gets a lot brighter.
Without basic school supplies, a kid’s confidence ends up broken.
Without basic school supplies a kid’s future ends up getting erased.
